DR GERTRUDE HUSS

Dr. Gertrude Huss qualified from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa in 1993 having been awarded the Sid Setzer Gold Medal Award for Paedodontics. She then joined a private dental practice in Johannesburg. On leaving South Africa she enrolled at the Eastman Dental Institute, University of London, and successfully completed her DRDP.
In 1999 she moved to the Channel Islands where she took over a prominent established dental practice in Jersey. Following the success and the demands of her growing cosmetic practice, it became apparent that larger and more appropriate premises were needed. This resulted in her acquiring and creating the exclusive Hill Street Clinic in 2008.
In 2012 the clinic was honoured to receive the award as the Best Facial Aesthetic Clinic in the United Kingdom from the Journal of Private Dentistry and received a highly commended award as the most attractive practice.
Success followed in 2013 where Dr. Huss was listed by her peers and colleagues as a well-respected aesthetic practitioner, with Hill Street Clinic listed as one of the most inspiring clinics in the United Kingdom. In the same year, she was awarded the European Anti-Ageing Medicine trophy for Non-Surgical Facial Rejuvenation. The Hill Street Clinic provides both general and cosmetic dentistry and medical non-surgical cosmetic procedures.
Dr. Huss is internationally recognised as a prominent practitioner in the medical aesthetic field, is frequently invited to lecture in facial aesthetics and to demonstrate her work techniques at international conferences, such as IMCAS (International Master Conference of Ageing Science) in Paris, WAC (World Aesthetic Congress) in London and AAMWC (Anti-Aging Medicine World Congress) in Monaco.
She has been cited as one of the prominent and expert Top Twenty doctors in Aesthetics by the society magazine Tater 2009, and also named in the United Kingdom's Elite Twenty Dentists, as elected by the Private Dentistry Journal 2012. Medical and Dental Aesthetic Journals request her to provide written articles on relevant matters. She is on the editorial advisory board for the Journal of Aesthetic Dentistry Today and a contributory author of the publication Expert Consensus on Complications of Botulinum toxin and Dermal Filler treatment.
